Natalie Portman

 Natalie Portman (born Natalie Hershlag,Hebrew:June 9, 1981) is an Israeli-born American actress. From her early teens, she has had a successful career in film. She has been in a variety of blockbusters as well as independent films and has received numerous awards including the Academy Award and two Golden Globe Awards. While in high school she made her Broadway debut in a 1998 production called The Diary of a Young Girl and received international recognition for starring in the role of Padme Amidala in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace (1999). She attended Harvard University from 1999 to 2003 and graduated with a bachelor's degree in psychology. Portman reduced her acting roles however she continued to be a part of the Star Wars prequel trilogy (2002 and 2005) as well as The Public Theater's 2001 revival of Anton Chekhov play The Seagull. In 2004, Portman was nominated for the Academy Award in Best Supporting Actress. She also won a Golden Globe Award for her part in Closer which is a romantic comedy about a mysterious stripper. Portman's career grew through her roles as Evey Hammond in V for Vendetta (2005) and Anne Boleyn in The Other Boleyn Girl (2008) and as an uneasy ballerina in the psychological horror film Black Swan (2010), for which she won the Academy Award for Best Actress. The actress then appeared in the romantic comedy No Strings Attached (2011) and portrayed Jacqueline Kennedy in the biopic Jackie (2016) in which she earned her a third Academy Award nomination. Portman was also a part of Jane Foster in the Marvel Cinematic Universe superhero films Thor (2011), Thor: The Dark World (2013) as well as Thor: Love and Thunder (2022), which made her one of the highest-paid actresses.Portman's projects as a director comprise the film short Eve (2008) as well as the biographical drama A Tale of Love and Darkness (2015). She has been active in her opinions about Israel as well as United States politics and is an advocate for animal rights as well as environmental causes. Benjamin Millepied is her dancer husband and choreographer. They have two kids with Benjamin Millepied.
