Magic Johnson

 Earvin "Magic" Johnson Jr. was an ex- American professional basketball player, was born on August 14, 1959. Johnson is frequently considered to be the best point guard ever was a player for 13 seasons in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Johnson was a champion in college and high schools and was later chosen by the Los Angeles Lakers first in the 1979 NBA draft. Johnson was the team's leader in five NBA championships during the Showtime period. Johnson abruptly resigned in 1991 after revealing that the player had contracted HIV. But Johnson returned to the 1992 All-Star Game and won the All-Star MVP Award. Following a protest by his teammates, Johnson resigned abruptly in 1991. Johnson returned to the Lakers in 1996 , aged 36, and was awarded the All-Star MVP Award. Johnson was the league's top player in assists during the regular season four times more. Johnson is also the NBA's most successful player in assists per game average during both the regular season and playoffs (11.19 assists per game) and he has the record for the highest number of career assists in the playoffs. Johnson was a part of the 1992 United States Olympic basketball team ("The Dream Team") which won the Olympic gold medal. Johnson quit the NBA in 1991 and established the Magic Johnson All-Stars. This team was an exhibition team that travelled across the globe playing basketball.
