Joe Jonas

Joseph Adam Jonas, born 15 August 1989, is an American actor, singer and songwriter. He gained fame as a member of the group known as the Jonas Brothers, alongside his brothers Kevin and Nick. In 2006 the Columbia label released the band's debut album, It's About Time. However, it did not achieve commercial recognition. After joining Hollywood Records, the group released their self-titled sophomore studio album in 2007, that became their breakthrough album. The band gained a lot of attention on the Disney Channel during this time as they gained a significant following through the network: they appeared in the widely successful musical TV film Camp Rock (2008) and its sequel Camp Rock 2: The Final Jam (2010) as and two of their own series, Jonas Brothers: Living the Dream (2008-2010) and Jonas (2009-2010).The Jonas Brothers' third album, a Little Bit Longer (2008) was a commercial hit for the group. The album's main track "Burnin' Up" hit the top five spots on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Although the band's fourth album still a success in the Billboard 200 charts, sales fell. Joe's solo album Fastlife (2011) was released following the announcement of a hiatus. It had a modest commercial popularity. Jonas was the singer in the group, was a part of the the funk-pop band DNCE in 2015. Their debut single, "Cake by the Ocean", was a huge commercial hit. It reached the top 9 spots on the Billboard Hot 100 charts in the United States.
