Jessica Simpson

 Jessica Ann Simpson (born July 10, 1980) is an American actress, singer, and businesswoman. After singing in choirs at church as a young person, Simpson signed with Columbia Records in 1997 at seventeen. Sweet Kisses (1999), her debut album, sold 2 million copies in the United States. The hit single "I I Want To Love You Forever" was a commercial smash. Simpson's second studio album Irresistible which was a maturer version of her. The title track made it to the Billboard Hot 100 and became Simpson's second top 20 single. The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certified the album gold. In This Skin (2003), Simpson's third studio album, sold three million copies in the United States.During her early professional career, Simpson became known for her relationship with and subsequent marriage to Nick Lachey and Nick Lachey, with whom she appeared on the MTV reality television series Newlyweds: Nick and Jessica between 2003 and 2005. Following the release of her first Christmas album ReJoyce: The Christmas Album (2004), which was certified gold, Simpson made her film debut as Daisy Duke in The Dukes of Hazzard (2005). The singer also performed the cover version of "These Boots are Made for Walking" for the film's soundtrack. She released her fifth studio album, A Public Affair, in 2006, and was also featured in the romantic comedy film The Employee of the month. Simpson's sixth studio album, Do You Know (2008), saw her shift into the country genre. She also appeared in the romantic comedy film Employee of the month. In 2005, Simpson founded The Jessica Simpson Collection, a clothing line. To date, the brand has earned more than one billion dollars in sales. Open Simpson also appeared in the reality TV show The Price of Beauty in 2010. She also judged the fashions in two seasons of Fashion Star between 2012 and 2013. She also published a memoir in 2020 called Open Book, which reached number one in The New York Times Best Seller list with more than 59,000 copies were sold in the first week following its release. Simpson is married Eric Johnson and has three children.
