Fran Drescher

 Francine Joy Drescher was born on September 30th in 1957. She is an American comedian writer, activist, and trade unionist. Her character as Fran Fine in The Nanny (1993-1999) is her most famous role. She was also in American Hot Wax (1978) as well as Wes Craven's horror film Stranger in Our House (1978). Her fame grew in the 1980s for her work as an actress who played comedians in films like Gorp (1980) and The Hollywood Knights(80), Doctor Detroit (1983), This Is Spinal Tap (84), and UHF (1989). In addition to making her way through the TV industry as a guest on several shows, she was also a guest in a variety of television shows. Her fame grew in 1993 for her role on Fran Fine, the sitcom she co-created with her, The Nanny. She was nominated two times for Emmy Awards and twice for Golden Globe Awards for Best Actress. Drescher was a prominent character in the sitcoms Living with Fran, and Happily Divorced. She has also been a major character in the animated Hotel Transylvania films since 2012. On February 4, 2014, Drescher was cast in the role of Madame Drescher's stepmother in Cinderella. She was the lead character in the NBC sitcom Indebted in the year 2020.
