Eazy-E

Eric Lynn Wright, born on September 7, 1964[2] and died on in March of 1995. He was known as Eazy E. He was an American rapper. Wright led the N.W.A group and Ruthless Records, and helped to propel West Coast rap and gangsta Rap. Wright is often called the "Godfather Gangsta Rap". Born and raised in Compton California, Wright was involved in numerous legal disputes prior to establishing Ruthless Records in 1987. Wright had a brief solo career but was usually working with Dr. Dre and Ice Cube. They joined teams to form N.W.A later that year. N.W.A's debut studio album, Straight Outta Compton, was released in 1988. The album was a source of controversy upon its release but is now considered one of the most important and influential albums. The group released their third and final studio album, Niggaz4Life in 1991, and soon after disbanded.During N.W.A's splintering, largely due to disputes regarding the amount of money they earned, Eazy-E became embroiled in intense rivalries with his fellow group members Ice Cube and Dr. Dre, who had left for independent careers in 1989 and 1991, respectively. Resuming his solo career, Eazy-E released two EPs. However, he was more significant in the background, signing and nationally debuting the rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony from 1993 to 1994. In 1995, Eazy-E was suddenly hospitalized and diagnosed with AIDS and later died because of its complications.
