Dua Lipa

 After having worked as model, she was signed with Warner Bros. Records in 2014. Her debut album, "Eponymous", in 2017. The album climbed to third on the UK Albums Chart. It also produced eight singles including "Be the One", IDGAF, and the UK top single "New Rules". This single also reached the top spot in the US. The album was certified platinum in many countries around the world and brought Lipa the Brit Awards in the year 2018 for British Female Solo Artist and British Breakthrough Act. The UK's top-rated hit single, "One Kiss", peaked at number 1 in the year 2018. It was also the longest-running single of a female artist. The singer was awarded the Brit Award for Song Of the Year in 2019. In recognition of the Silk City collaboration "Electricity" she won the Grammy Award as Best New Artist and the Grammy Award as Best Dance Recording. Later that year, Lipa released "Don't Start now" as the lead track from her second album, Future Nostalgia (2020). Reaching number two in the UK and US and number four on the US year-end chart which was the highest commercially successful song by a female artist in the US in the year 2020. Its follow-up singles "Physical", "Break My Heart" and "Levitating" also charted within the top ten with the most recent making it to the top spot on the US year-end chart in 2021. Future Nostalgia received critical acclaim and earned six Grammy nominations--including Album of the Year, Record of the Year and Song of the Year--and became her first UK number-one album. The album helped Lipa achieve the titles of British Female Solo Artist of the Year and British Album of the Year at the 2021 Brit Awards. She has received many accolades, including recognition in the Time 100 Next list (2021).
