 Beyonce Giselle Knowles Carter (/bi’anseIBeyonce Knowles Carter (/bi'anseI/ (listen) Beyon-On-Say;[4was born on September 4 in 1981. 5) is an American actor, singer and songwriter. According to NPR, Beyonce is the 21st century's most influential female artist because of her boundary-pushing voice and talent. When she was a kid Beyonce was a participant in numerous dance and singing contests. In the latter part of the 1990s she joined the R&B girl group Destiny's Child. This was one of the most popular girl groups of all time. Following a break, her debut album Dangerously in Love (2003) that included the top-rated US Billboard Hot 100 singles "Crazy in Love", as well as "Baby Boy" and "Baby Boy," was released. Beyonce's sophomore solo album, B'Day (which included the singles "Irreplaceable", as well as "Beautiful Liar") was released in 2006 following Destiny's Child disbanded. Beyonce was a part of a variety of films which included The Pink Panther (2006) and Dreamgirls (2006). Obsessed (2008) was her second album as a solo artist. Jay-Z's marriage as well as her role in the role of Etta James in Cadillac Records (2008) had an influence on her third album, I Am... Sasha Fierce (2008). The album won six Grammy Awards, a record. It was also the place where she recorded the hit singles "If I Were A Boy" and "Single Ladies and "Halo". The singer released her fourth album 4 in 2011 following her split from Mathew Knowles her manager and father.
