Amanda Knox

 Amanda Marie Knox was born on July 9 on 1987. She is an American journalist, activist, author and activist. Knox spent nearly four years in an Italian prison following her unjust conviction for the murder in 2007 of Meredith Kercher, a fellow exchange student she shared the same apartment in Perugia. The Italian Supreme Court of Cassation acquitted Knox in 2015. Knox was just 20 years old when she was arrested, called police following her return home to Kercher and Kercher's apartment. Kercher's bedroom doors were locked, and the bathroom was splattered with blood. During the subsequent police interrogations and the manner in which they conducted themselves was in debate, Knox allegedly confessed to the murder along with Patrick Lumumba, her employer. At first, Knox, Sollecito, and Lumumba were all arrested for Kercher's murder. But Lumumba was later released. Knox and Sollecito were, at first accused of the murder of Kercher were convicted and sentenced respectively to 26 and 25 year in prison. Rudy Guede was also a known burglar and was quickly arrested after his bloodstained fingerprints were discovered on Kercher's possessions. Guede was later accused of murder in a fast-track trial and was sentenced to a 30 year prison term, which was which was later decreased to 16 years. An Italian court ruled Guede could be released through community service.
