Alison Sudol (born December 23, 1984) is an American actress, singer musician, and music video director. Her most well-known roles include A Fine Frenzy singer and Queenie Goldstein in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them (2016) and its sequels The Crimes of Grindelwald (2018) and The Secrets of Dumbledore (2222). Her music has been featured in a myriad of TV programs and movies.Sudol was born in Seattle, Washington to dramatic arts teacher Sondra (Fraser) West-Moore and acting coach John Sudol. After the divorce of her parents in the early 1980s, she emigrated with both parents to Los Angeles at the age of five. She was raised with a wide range of music that included Aretha Franklin, Ella Fitzgerald and other swing musicians. She lists Bob Dylan, Johnny Cash and Simon and Garfunkel as some of her most influential music sources of inspiration. At the age of 16, she graduated high school. She considered herself "nerdy and quiet" and did not "drink or smoke or do any of that". The woman she interviewed said, "I was so nervous about entering college that way and was also super young. I thought I'd be spending two years trying to figure out what wanted to do in the field of music. And when I was 18, I was just too involved that I didn't want to end my journey.
