Christina Ricci

 Christina Ricci (/'ri:tSi/ REE-chee; born February 12, 1980) is an American actress. Known for playing unusual characters that have a darker edge,[2Ricci has a reputation for playing dark characters. Ricci predominantly works in independent productions, but has also appeared in many films that have made it to the box office. She has also received nominations for the Golden Globe and two Primetime Emmy Awards.Ricci made her film debut at the age of 9 in Mermaids (1990), which was followed by her debut role as the character Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family (1991) and its sequel Addams Family Values (1993). Her subsequent roles in Casper and Now and Then, both 1995, made her an teen idol. When she was 17 Ricci began her adult-oriented career in The Ice Storm (1997), which led to parts in independent films such as Pecker (1998), The Opposite of Sex (1998) as well as Monster (2003). She was also in Sleepy Hollow (1999), 200 Cigarettes (99), Penelope (2006) and Speed Racer (2008). Additionally, Ricci was a part of the finale season, Ally McBeal(2002) and a guest on Grey's Anatomy (2006). The actress also appeared in the ABC series Pan Am (2011) and also starred in and produced the show Z: The Beginning of Everything (2017). In 2021 she began acting in the critically-acclaimed Showtime series Yellowjackets and, in 2022, she appeared in the comedy horror series Wednesday.
