Sosie Bacon

 Kevin Bacon, a director of Loverboy has decided to feature his daughter Sosie in Loverboy. When asked about the decision, Kevin said he made the decision as a filmmaker, not as a father because the daughter he had was perfect to play the part, and "Sosie was cool. She sort of got rid of it. She said "Oh it was fun, but now I'm off to school'." Sosie played the role of the main character Emily in flashbacks, while Kyra Sedgwick, Sosie's mother played the adult Emily. Sosie performed an acappella performance of "Life on Mars" by David Bowie as Emily. ", that was reviewed by The New York Times as "grotesquely hilarious". The brother of Sosie, Travis Bacon, was assigned a minor role in the movie. Kevin was gracious enough to praise Sosie's performance in Loverboy however, he said she wouldn't be encouraged to keep acting. According to Sedgwick who plays the role as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, Duff would have liked to see her in the cast of the show since when she was twelve years old. Sedgwick did not agree with the idea and demanded that Sosie should not take part with acting. However, Duff says, he managed to get Sosie's parents to agree to her playing a small part in the show, provided that it didn't interfere with her education. Duff described the deal more like an "treaty negotiation" rather than an agreement.
