Snoop Dogg

 Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr. was born on October 20, 1971. He is also referred to as Snoop Dogg (previously Snoop Dogg and then Snoop Lion). (Note: This is an American rapperSnoop Dogg is an American rapper. The first single he released solo, "Deep Cover", was released in 1992. The song was later featured on Dr. Dre's debut solo album, called The chronic. Broadus has sold over 23 million albums in the United States and more than 35 million globally in the years since 1992, when he appeared on Dr. Dre's first solo single "Deep Cover", and later on his debut solo album, The Chronic. The album debuted at the #1 in the Billboard 200 and Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums charts. Doggystyle was sold out to 800,000 people in the first week of release. It reached four times platinum in 1994. The songs "What's My Name?" were also included. "Gin and Juice" and "What's My Name?" Broadus composed the music for Death Row Records' 1994 short film Murder Was the Case. Snoop was the main character. The album he followed Tha doggfather debuted at the top of the charts for both in 1996, with "Snoop’s Upside Ya Head" as the title track. The next year, the album was certified double-platinum.After leaving Death Row Records in January 1998, Broadus signed with No Limit Records, releasing three Snoop albums: Da Game Is to Be Sold, Not to Be Told (1998), No Limit Top Dogg (1999), and Tha Last Meal (2000). Broadus signed with Priority/Capitol/EMI Records in 2002, and then released Paid tha cost of being da Boss. He signed with Geffen Records in 2004 and released the next three albums, R&G (Rhythm & Gangsta: The Masterpiece ), The Blue Carpet Treatment, & Ego Trippin'. Priority Records released Malice 'n Wunderland in 2009, and Doggumentary in 2011. Snoop Dogg has been featured in a variety of motion films and has hosted several television shows, including Doggy Fizzle Televizzle as well as Snoop Dogg's Father Hood. He also coaches for a high school and youth football league. He was employed by EMI in September 2009 to be their theatrics.
