Santino Rice

 In 2005, Santino participated as a contestant on the second season of Bravo reality series Project Runway, producing mixed results on the show. He was a winner of two challenges and was among the top three designs three more times. But, Rice was among the lowest two scorers for four challenges. In the end, he was able to stay through the season and was one of three finalist selected to showcase at Olympus Fashion Week in New York City. He came in third in the competition, just in the third spot, behind Daniel Vosovic and Chloe Dao.Rice was famous for his charismatic and sometimes abrasive persona he played on Project Runway, and he was often cited as the "villain" of the show. Rice's humor was well-known as were his imitations of mentor Tim Gunn. Rice was selected to be the judge for the Miss Universe 2006 pageant. MTV VJ SuChin Pak requested Rice to create the dress for Miss Universe 2006. In the next year, Rice made a guest appearance in the sixth episode of America's Most Smartest Model, in which contestants were taught about fashion design. In 2008, he was working on a new cigarette pack design for Camel and was dressing a small group of high-end private clients and was working on establishing his own clothing company.More recently, Rice has been cast in two major roles on reality television. From 2009 until 2014, Rice was a judge for the Logo reality program RuPaul's Drag Race. Rice also appeared alongside Austin Scarlett on the Lifetime series On the Road With Austin and Santino. [6] The show premiered in 2010 and followed Rice and Scarlett as they visited various American small towns, creating clothes for women with coming special events. Rice was also part of the queer independent film thrille of 2010.
