Most Expensive Islands

It doesn't matter if own a costly car or watch, or an enormous mansion or yacht, or even a private plane, having your own property which is surrounded by water from all sides can demonstrate wealth and power. It's the modern equivalent to owning your own castle, only in more pleasant and beautiful areas. Here's a list of some of the most expensive islands around the globe beginning with Big Darby Island, which covers 554 acres and is located in the Bahamas located approximately 95 miles away from Nassau, and 250 miles away from Miami. Big Darby Island, surrounded by stunning white beaches and the blue waters of the Caribbean is as breathtaking as you can get. It also has an old English-style castle that was constructed in the 1930s. It could be transformed into a clubhouse or residence. Dulichium is currently the largest private island located in Greece. It lies in the northwest of the mainland of Greece, close to the Gulf of Corinth entrance. The island is surrounded by stunning, deep blue-green waters of Ionian Sea. Investors who want to turn it into an attraction for tourists or anyone who is willing to invest $50 million to make it the property's own. Flathead Lake is the northeastern corner of Montana. While it's just one of the many islands that are visible from the surface but it's certainly the most stunning. The 24-acre piece of land is the home of the largest privately owned estate in Montana. It's an exclusive 32,000 square-foot home with an enormous mansion that covers 24,000 square feet with heated porticos as well as outdoor areas for entertainment. Mainland Greece is surrounded by a myriad of stunning islands. Omfori Island is located in the Ionian Sea and is up for sale for $60 million.
