Maureen Brady

 Brady has received grants and awards from the Ludwig Vogelstein Foundation and the New York State Creative Arts Public Service program of the New York State Council on the Arts. The exhibition was curated by Harmony Hammond curated, was the first exhibit of art that was identified as lesbian in the United States. She is currently teaching composition and creative writing at New York University and the New York Writers Workshop.
