Pedraza was first discovered by Esteban Crespo via her Instagram account. He invited her to audition for the lead role in his debut film Amar [4]. She was given the role as Laura and then was cast as Alison Parker, the daughter of the British ambassador. The subsequent purchase by Netflix brought her both internationally and nationally recognized. At the beginning of 2018 Pedraza's appearance in the second Netflix original Spanish series titled Elite was announced, with the other Money Heist cast members Miguel Herran and Jaime Lourente.
