Lawrence Gene David (born July 2nd, 1947) is a famous American comedian actor, writer and television producer. Seinfeld as well as David co-created the sitcom Seinfeld. David was the executive producer and head writer for the first seven seasons. The show was further recognized for his work on the HBO series Curb Your Enthusiasm, which was his creation and starring in as a fictionalized representation of himself. Since its first episode, 1999, David has co-written or created the story for each episode. In 1993, he was awarded two Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Comedy Series and Outstanding Individual Achievements in Writing in Comedy Series. Formerly a comedian, he entered the world of television comedy, writing, and starring in ABC's Fridays, and writing briefly for Saturday Night Live. He's been nominated for 27 Primetime Emmy Awards and three Golden Globe Awards. He was selected by comedy fans and fellow comedians insiders as being the 23rd best comedian of all time in a 2004 British survey to pick "The Comedian's Comedian",[4] and received the Laurel Award for TV Writing Achievement from the Writers Guild of America in 2010.Since 2015, he has been a regular guest on Saturday Night Live, where he impersonates 2020 and 2016 U.S. presidential candidate Bernie Sanders
