Kuro Sakuragawa

 When he was a child and a teenager, he was raised in a traditional Japanese house , along with his many relatives. When he was eating dinner with the other members of his family, the rest of his siblings, and possibly cousins are seen to collapse and die within a few seconds of eating. His mother revealed to him that the food he was given was Ningyo and Kudan meats as part of the Sakuragawa family's mission to create someone who could accurately forecast the future. To determine if the meat actually worked, his grandmother put him through a series of experiments that involved cutting him open until he felt no pain or did not affect him anymore. The cousin Rikka was the only one to make it through. He also found an accomplice, Saki Yumihara. Later in the same year, he attended the same college. At this point He also visited Rikka at the hospital she was admitted to. He is frequent enough that nurses recognize him, and Saki goes with him to make sure they do not flirt with him. Saki uncovers his true identity after they meet a kappa when going to the shrine. The kappa runs away in fear. She decides to end their relationship and relocate to a different city in order to get a job immediately after she graduates.
