Kelly Reilly

Reilly wrote to Prime Suspect producers to request work. Helen Mirren was the main character in Prime Suspect. A few months later, she was a part-time auditioner in "Prime Suspect 4: Inner Circle", which was broadcast on ITV on May 7, 1995. She starred in an episode of Bramwell, a period drama TV series that was filmed in the United Kingdom. Six years later, Mirren starred alongside her in Last Orders. She was later given several parts on the English stage. She was a part of four stage productions together with Terry Johnson: Elton John's Glasses (1997), The London Cuckolds (1998), The Graduate (2000), and Piano/Forte (2006). [7] Johnson composed Piano/Forte and stated she was a huge fan of Kelly. "Reilly claimed that Karel Reisz was the one who taught her the most about acting. He was the director for her in The Yalta Game, Dublin 2001. She has said that "He was my mentor. It's impossible to imagine how I would have been able to play Miss Julie if I hadn't performed that show. "Reilly felt that she was being seen as a comedy stereotype, and sought out a role in Last Orders directed by Fred Schepisi as the young Amy. It was followed by a part in the Royal Court's 2001 rerun of Sarah Kane's Blasted. The Times called her "theatrical Viagra". In 2002, Reilly starred alongside Audrey Tautou and Romain Duris as Wendy the English Erasmus student, in the French comedy L'Auberge Spanishe (The Spanish Apartment). She reprised her role in the 2005 sequel, Les Poupees russes (Russian Dolls) and in the 2013 sequel, Casse-tete chinois (Chinese Puzzle). Also in 2005, Reilly had roles in movies like Mrs Henderson Presents and Pride & Prejudice.
