They had previously collaborated on Merlin as Morgana and Morgause and Morgause, respectively. McGrath was played by Lady Furness in Madonna's W.E. biopic, which is an Edward VIII biopic. McGrath played Lady Furness who was the king's former mistress and the one who introduces him to Wallis Simpson. McGrath also was a part of W.E. which was Madonna's directorial debut. In 2011, McGrath was a co-star with Roger Moore in comedy-drama A Princess for Christmas. The Hallmark Channel Original Movie was shot primarily at Peles Castle in Romania. McGrath was Lady Furness, who was the king's previous lover. McGrath also appeared in Episode 4 of Dates on Channel 4 as an aspiring young lesbian on the scene of dating with Gemma Chan. McGrath was a part of Gemma Chan in Episode 4 of Channel 4's Dates in June 2013. In November 2014, McGrath starred alongside Gemma Chan in the Hozier music video. In the year 2016, McGrath was confirmed to be the voice as Lena Luthor, a recurring character on Supergirl. [19][20] McGrath debuted in the season 2 premiere episode, "The Adventures of Supergirl". The show was elevated to regular series status in March 2017 and was in that position until the conclusion of the series in 2021. [21][2222 McGrath played Elsa the fictional character from Guy Ritchie's epic fantasy film King Arthur: Legend of the Sword. The film came out in May 2017. The Secret Bridesmaids' Business is a Seven Network series about how the wedding of a bride can be fatal as one of her bridesmaids invites a stranger into their home to share their life. McGrath was the character Saskia, a bisexual woman said by McGrath as a loyal and intelligent woman.
