This was the first male solo act to make it to the top in 47 years. The hit single "Baby" was a huge success worldwide and became the top-selling single in America. Under the Mistletoe (2011) was the second studio album he released and was the first album for Christmas to be ranked as the top album in the US by a male singer. 6 Bieber attempted dance-pop with his third studio album Believe (2012). He became one of the most successful musicians in the history of American music to have five US top-of-the-line albums. Bieber became the first artist to make it to the top three positions in the UK Singles Chart. He also released Believe (2012) the third studio album.
