Jeffree Star (born Jeffrey Lynn Steininger Jr., November 15 1985) is an American YouTuber makeup artist, makeup artist, and an ex-singer-songwriter and singer. Star is the creator and the owner of Jeffree Star Cosmetics. In 2009, Star released Beauty Killer an album of studio recordings that featured songs like "Lollipop Luxury" along with Nicki Minaj. To advertise his music, he toured on numerous tours around the world. He signed with Konvict Muzik in 2010. However, he abruptly quit the music industry in 2013 citing the legal troubles the owner of the label had to face between 2007 and 2010. In November 2014, Star founded the company Jeffree Star Cosmetics. In the year 2018 Forbes revealed that he had made $18 million through his YouTube ventures alone, which made him the fifth highest-paid YouTuber in the year.
