Jayson Tatum

 Jayson Christopher Tatum Jr. (/’teItm3 March 3, 1998) is an American professional basketball player with the Boston Celtics (NBA). Tatum was an McDonald's All-American high school basketball player from Missouri. The 2017 NBA draft, the Boston Celtics selected Tatum with the third pick overall. Tatum was an three-time NBA All-Star selection as well as a two-time All-NBA selection was selected as the NBA Eastern Conference Finals Most Valuable Player 2022. Tatum helped the Celtics to reach the NBA Finals. Tatum was also awarded a gold medal with the 2020 U.S. Olympic Team in Tokyo. Tatum was a Chaminade College Preparatory School student in Creve Coeur. He scored 13.3 points per game when he was freshman and was named the Metro Catholic Conference Co Player of the Year in 2013. His performance helped the Red Devils (MCC) to the Missouri District 2 championships. Tatum averaged 26.0 points per game when he was an sophomore in 2014. Tatum earned Second-team Naismith Trophy All-American recognition. Tatum was a part of the St. Louis Eagles Amateur Athletic Union's (AAU) that competes in the Nike Elite Youth Basketball League Circuit (EYBL). The Eagles defeated Harry Giles, future Duke teammate and Team CP3 74-73 at the Nike Peach Jam Semi-Finals. Tatum scored the game-winning buzzer-beater, which took the game to victory and sent them to the final game. Tatum had 28 points and five rebound. Tatum had 24 points, seven boards, and four blocks in the game against the Georgia Stars on July 12. Tatum was also the future Duke all-in Duke Wendell Carter Jr. in a 104-77 defeat. 4. Tatum was the top EYBL scoring player during the Circuit with 26.5 points per game, and 9.5 rebound. The highlights of his senior year included a score of 40 points and 17-rebound game against Bentonville High School's Malik Monk.[8A game with 46 points against Huntington Prep.[9Then a final 40-point game against DeMatha Catholic High School. Tatum was a senior in the year 2015-16 and was averaging 29.6 and 9.1 rebound. Tatum also had six games with 40 points, while playing for Chaminade during the second round of Missouri Class 5A. Tatum was selected to play in the 2016 McDonald's All-American Game. He was the winner of the Skills competition and dominated the East Team with 18 points and 8 rebounds in the loss of 114-107. Tatum was also a part of the Jordan Brand Classic in April. Tatum scored 18 points in the game against the West team in a 131-171 victory.
