Rocero was discovered by a fashion photographer at a restaurant on the Lower East Side of Manhattan when she was just 21 years old. She was then signed to NEXT Model Management and spent 12 years modeling for international swimsuit and beauty editorials, earning her a huge fan base.She has been modeling for twelve years. She was the first transgender woman to be named Iconic 2020 Playboy Playmates for the Year. Rocero Playboy's Playboy article has been being considered for a nomination for the 2020 GLAAD Media Award for the Best magazine Article.In 2014, Rocero was featured on the cover of the fifth anniversary issue of CNDY magazine along with 13 other transgender women: Janet Mock, Carmen Carrera, Laverne Cox, Isis King, Gisele Alicea (Gisele Xtravaganza), Leyna Ramous, Dina Marie, Nina Poon, Juliana Huxtable, Niki M'nray, Peche Di, Carmen Xtravaganza and Yasmine Petty. Rocero was also named Executive Producer for "Beautiful As I Want To Be", an online series by Logo that focuses on transgender youth. This series spotlights young trans people and pairs them up with mentors or coaches in the trans community. In the premiere episode, Zeam, a young trans man and artist, is in a relationship with Caitlyn Jenner. Jenner speaks of Rocero in the episode as "the first transperson I've had the pleasure of meeting". Rocero was also mentioned on Jenner's I Am.
