Flavor Flav

 Flav joined forces together with Nick Cimino in 2011 to launch Flav's Fried Chicken in Cimino's hometown of Clinton (Iowa). They were introduced through Peter Cimino his brother, Cimino's who runs Mama Cimino's in Las Vegas and Castle Rock Bar and Pizzeria located in Kingman, Arizona. Peter Cimino started selling Flav's chicken wings after having enjoyed the rapper's homemade Fried Chicken. Flavor Flav's Chicken was founded with the intention of opening a franchise across the country. But, rival owners, bounced checks coupled with poor business choices led to Flavor Flav's Chicken closing down within four months of it opened. Flavor Flav was not involved in the daily operations of the restaurant. Nick Cimino paid for Flavor Flav's license. Flavor Flav launched Flavor Flav's House of Flavor Las Vegas on March 22, 2012. The business is not affiliated with previous ventures of Flavor Flav in the restaurant business. Flavor Flav's Chicken & Ribs offered casual dining with a fast-service attitude. Flavor Flav's Chicken & Ribs was shut down by the landlord in July 2013 because it was unable to pay rent.
