Cutkosky began doing photo advertisements when he was four to let his mother and him to have more time together. After a few commercials and being invited to audition for films and commercials. The first film he auditioned for was a role as Carl alongside Vince Vaughn in the Christmas comedy Fred Claus (2007) when he was seven years old.
