Wasserman was hired by The Cook Political Report as the senior editor for the U.S. House of Representatives in June 2007. His writing has been highlighted in a range of publications such as The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal as in The Washington Post, The Economist and RealClearPolitics. He has worked as an analyst on election nights for NBC News since 2008 and has contributed commentary to CNN, Fox News and C-SPAN. Wasserman contributed to The Almanac of American Politics in the 2014 and 2016 editions. He also offered commentary for Fox News, CNN C-SPAN, NPR as well as CNN. Wasserman is well-known for his live analysis of the election results and early election calls on Twitter. Wasserman is famous for his catchy phrase, "I have seen enough" that he uses to begin every election call he makes.
