Bridget Phetasy

 Bridget Phetasy, born November 15th, 1978, is an American journalist, podcast host, political commentator, and writer. Her topics include political polarization and addiction, religion, media fragmentation as well as other issues. She is a contributing editor for The Spectator as well as a writer for The Federalist (website), Playboy magazine and Tablet (magazine), Quillette and The Atlantic. She is also the host of the Weekly Dumpster Fire on YouTube and the Walk-Ins Welcome podcEarly LifeBridget Phetasy was born on the 15th of November 1978 to an Irish and Italian Catholic family. She is the youngest of five children. In her early years, she lived in Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Minnesota. Her family frequently moved around. When she was 12 her parents separated. She wrote about being raped and drugged when she was 18 and living in Minnesota. When she was 19, Phetasy attended rehab for heroin addiction, and was able to stop using the drug. Later LifePhetasy battled addiction to cocaine, alcohol, marijuana and ecstasy up to her mid thirties. In 2005, she founded the greeting card and T shirt company , Phetasy that was named after "the feeling that occurs reality becoming parody, and parody becomes reality". The company ceased operations however Brigette decided to adopt Phetasy as her name of honor. 1. Phetasy was an Playboy Advisor in Playboy Magazine and wrote the Sex and Dating Column. [5] She appeared on Joe Rogan's podcast.
