Bo Burnham

 Robert Pickering "Bo" Burnham (born 1990) is an American comedian, musician and songwriter, actor and filmmaker. His comedy routine often incorporates musical, sketch and stand-up elements along with filmmaking.Following his popularity in the role of one of the first YouTube stars throughout the late 2000s, Burnham gained notability in the first half of 2010 due to his subversive and humorous stand-up comedy and musical comedy. In the following years, he released four comedy albums with Comedy Central Records, released three comedy specials--Words, Words, Words (2010) and What. (2013) and Make Happy (2016). He was also a co-star in the MTV mockumentary Zach Stone is Gonna be Famous (2013) and released Egghead: Or You Can't survive on Ideas Alone (2013). After performing comedy and directing, he decided to switch careers and directed the critically-acclaimed drama Eighth Grade (2018). He has also directed comedy specials for comedians and also starred in the Oscar Award-winning comedy Promising Young Lady (2020). Inside was released by Netflix to great acclaim. The film was nominated for Outstanding Directing for Variety Special, Outstanding Music Director Outstanding Writing for Variety Special and Outstanding Directing. The 64th Grammy Awards, Inside was nominated for Best Music Film and Best Song Written for Visual Media and was awarded the second. The special included three tracks that were certified gold by the United States Billboard and the accompanying album Inside (The Songs).
