Hykeem Jamaal Carter Jr. (born October 22, 2000), known professionally as Baby Keem, is an American rapper and record producer.He first gained a lot of attention with the release of the single "Orange Soda", from his second mixtape Die for My Bitch (2019). Kanye West would collaborate on "Praise God", his song that reached the top 20 on the US Billboard Hot 100 charts. The song was certified Platinum by the American in April 2022. The Melodic Blue, his debut album The Melodic Blue was released by Columbia Records and pgLang in September 2021. The album was released at number five on the Billboard 200 chart. The lead single "Family Ties" featuring his cousin Kendrick Lamar became his second highest ranked song on the Billboard Hot 100 and received the Grammy Award for Best Rap Performance. The album also featured the songs "Durag Activity" and "Durag Activity," which Travis Scott performed, and "Range Brothers" which Lamar sang.
