 Hykeem was born in Carson, California. [5] Hykeem spent his childhood in Carson, California. He would watch his uncles and aunts "burn" CDs. It was the early 2000's, at the time when LimeWire was the most popular source of free music. After a couple of years Hykeem shared his experiences of hearing Kanye West's album "808s & Heartbreak" on the radio while in Las Vegas during the Winter of 2008. He was astonished by the album and decided to research it further. Keem took inspiration from musicians like Ye, Kid Cudi, Lil Wayne, Eminem, 50 Cent and many others.Keem became a small but prominent YouTuber who took part in the Minecraft Survival Games mini-game scene in the beginning of 2010. Keem was well-known for his Minecraft account with the name "hykeemc" as well as his YouTube account was called "AllMightyModz". Keem was an expert player on The Hive servers and MCGamer Network servers. He amassed more than 1,000 subscribers to his YouTube channel because of his prowess. Keem was known to frequently host Skype calls where his fans could participate with his game. The channel is currently not active, however, the links on his channel direct users to Keem's SoundCloud account.It wasn't until 2014 that Hykeem decided to start pursuing his own musical career
