Anna Cooke Kendrick (born August 9 in 1985) is an American actor and singer. Her Broadway debut was in 1998's musical High Society. She received a nomination from Tony for Best Actress in musical. In 2003 she made her feature debut on film in Camp the Musical, a musical comedy. She also played an important role in The Twilight Saga (2008)-2012. She achieved wider recognition for the comedy-drama film Up in the Air (2009) which won her a nomination for the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in addition to her role as the lead in the Pitch Perfect film series (201Kendrick has also appeared in the comedy films Scott Pilgrim vs. the World (2010) and 50/50 (2011) as well as the crime drama End of Watch (2012) as well as the musical Into the Woods (2014) and the action films The Accountant (2016) and A Simple Favor (2018). She also played a voice role in the animated musicals Trolls (2016) as well as Trolls World Tour (2020). For starring in the short form television series Dummy she was given an nomination for a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Actress.Kendrick has also sung on a variety of music tracks for her films, including the single "Cups" in 2012, and at events like the 2013 Kennedy Center Honors and the 2015 Academy Awards. Scrappy Little Nobody was her memoir.
