Teryl Rothery

 Rothery began dance lessons at the age of nine and in 1995 looked upon this as the start of her career in entertainment. Her first professional performances as a performer came in the musical Bye Bye Birdie at age 13 and also in the Marpole Community Theatre's production of The Sound of Music at age 14. When she was a teenager, she danced on The Irish Rovers variety TV series. At the age of 18, she appeared on CCBC's Halloween special. From ages 19-27, Rothery switched to radio, variously working and performing on CJAZ-FM, KISS-FM, and CKWX.For her performance in A Delicate Balance, Rothery was nominated for an award called the Jessie Richardson Theatre Award (2006-2007) in the category of "Outstanding Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role, Small Theatre". In addition, she was nominated in 2008 for the Leo Award in the category "Best Performance by A Female in an Actor in a Short Drama" for her role in Coffee Diva. She was nominated for the award in 2009 for "Best Supporting Performance of a Female In an Dramatic Series". Six more Leo nominations were made for acting in The Collector, and portraying Janet Fraiser in Stargate SG-1
