 John Christopher Depp II, born on June 9, 1963 is an American actor. Numerous awards have been presented to Depp, including an Screen Actors Guild Award and an Golden Globe Award. Depp became famous for his role as an 21 Jump Street teen idol (1987-1990). Depp was an primarily independent film actor during the 90s. (1993), Benny and Joon (93), Dead Man (1995), Donnie Brasco (1997), Fear and Loathing In Las Vegas (1998). Depp started a long-running collaboration with Tim Burton by portraying the leading characters in the film Edward Scissorhands (1990), Ed Wood (944) and Sleepy Hollow (1999).
