John Christopher Depp II, born on June 9, 1963 is an American actor. Numerous awards have been presented to Depp, including an Screen Actors Guild Award and an Golden Globe Award. He was also nominated for three Academy Awards, two BAFTA awards and Platoon (1986). Depp became famous for his role as an 21 Jump Street teen idol (1987-1990).
