Gwen Renee Stephens (born October 3rd, 1969) was a famous American singer, songwriter and fashion designer. She is a co-founder, lead vocalist and the main songwriter of the group No Doubt The group's hits include "Just a Girl", "Spiderwebs", and "Don't Speak" in 1995, off their album, their breakthrough album Tragic Kingdom, as well as "Hey Baby" and "It's My Life" from their later albums.During the band's hiatus, Stefani embarked on a solo pop career in 2004 with the release of her debut studio album Love. Angel. Music. Baby. The album was inspired by pop music from the 1980s and was a critical and commercial success. It was the birthplace of six singles including "What Are You Waiting For?" ", "Rich Girl", "Hollaback Girl", and "Cool". "Hollaback Girl", the first US-exclusive download to sell 1 million copies, was number one on Billboard's Hot 100 chart. In 2006, Stefani released her second studio album, The Sweet Escape. The album's singles included "Wind It Up" as well as "The Sweet Escape". The latter was at number three on Billboard's Hot 100 Year-end Charts for 2007. The third album she released as a solo artist, "This Is What the Truth Feels like (2016)", was her debut album to reach the top of the Billboard 200 charts. The fourth and final solo album of Stefani, and her first full-length Christmas album, was released in 2017. It charted 19 songs in the Billboard Holiday Digital Song Sales component chart in the US. Stefani has had several singles released with Blake Shelton, including "Nobody but You", which reached number 18 on the charts in the US. She has also been awarded three Grammy Awards. She was awarded the American Music Award and Brit Award, World Music Award, in addition to two Billboard Music Awards, for her solo work. Her clothing collection L.A.M.B. was launched in 2003. and expanded her line with the 2005 Harajuku Lovers line, inspired by Japanese culture and fashion. Billboard magazine named Stefani the 54th most successful artist, and 37th highest-performing Hot 100 artist of the 2000-2009 decade. VH1 placed her at 13th on their "100 Most Influential Women in Music" list in 2012. With her collaboration with No Doubt, Stefani has sold more than 30 million albums in the world.
