Steven Tyler

 Steven Victor Tallarico (born March 26 1948) also known as Steven Tyler, is an American singer, best known as the lead singer of the Boston-based rock group Aerosmith with whom he also plays the piano, harmonica, and percussion. His strong vocal range and high vocal volume makes Steven Tyler the "Demon of Screamin'". Acrobatics on stage are a highlight of his professional career. Tyler is well-known for his striking androgynous outfits and makeup and his on-stage acrobatics. He was the lead singer of Aerosmith during the 1970s. They released albums of hard rock like Toys in the Attic, Rocks and a number of hits singles including "Walk This Way", "Sweet Emotion", and "Dream On". Tyler was recovering from addiction to drug and alcohol abuse by the 1970s. The popularity of the band declined as the years progressed. In 1986, Tyler was able to complete his rehabilitation for addiction and Aerosmith became a household name when Tyler and Joe Perry joined Run-DMC for an re-release of "Walk This Way" that became an Top 5 hit. Aerosmith subsequently launched a comeback with the multi-platinum albums Permanent Vacation, Pump, Get a Grip and Nine Lives and produced a combined thirteen Top 40 singles and won the band many awards. Aerosmith toured on their longest tour and promoted their singles using conceptual music videos. Tyler also appeared in films, television, as well as video games. In the late 1980s Tyler has been performing on his own. He has also made appearances as a guest with Alice Cooper, Santana and Pink along with TV and film work. Tyler also wrote a book and performed his own music such as the Top 40 hit "(It' Feels So Good") in the year 2011. After he was injured on stage during a show in 2009, tensions flared between him and his Aerosmith groupmates. The band received treatment in 2009 [4] and signed up for American Idol. However, Tyler has continued to create music and perform with Aerosmith even after over 50 years with the band. In the year 2016, Tyler released his debut solo album, We're All Somebody from Somewhere, a country rock album that included the single "Love Is Your Name". Tyler was a part of the album's promotion with the "Out on a Limb" Tour. Tyler performs as a solo artist and with Aerosmith. He's also backed by the Loving Mary Band. Hit Parader ranked him third in the Top 100 Metal Vocalists. In 2001, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame along with Aerosmith and in 2013 Tyler and his songwriting partner Joe Perry received the ASCAP Founders Award and were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of
