 Scarlett Ingrid Johansson, /dZoU’haens@nwas born on 22 November, 1984. She is an American actress. The highest-paid actress in the world between 2018 and 2019, she has featured multiple times on the Forbes Celebrity 100 list. Time magazine named her one of the top 100 influential people in the world in 2021. Johansson is the most-priced movie actor ever, with movies that have grossed more than $14.3 billion across the globe. She has received various accolades like the Tony Award and a British Academy Film Award as well as addition to being nominated for two Academy Awards and five Golden Globe Awards.Born to the same Danish father and an American mother, Johansson aspired to be an actor from a young age. She made her debut on the stage in an off-Broadway show as an actress in her early years. Her first film appearance was in North (1994) in which was a comedy about fantasy. Her early fame was earned for roles in Manny & Lo 1996, The Horse Whisperer 1998, and Ghost World 2001. Johansson changed roles to adult roles in 2003, thanks to her performance in Lost in Translation, which won her a BAFTA Award for Best Actress and Girl with a Pearl Earring. The films were nominated for Golden Globe Awards. She received nominations for her performances as an unhappy teenage girl and a seductress respectively, in the drama A Love Song for Bobby Long (2004). It was her first film with Woody Allen, who later directed her in Scoop (2006) and Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008). Johansson also directed several films in this period, such as The Prestige (2006), the album Anywhere I Lay My Head (2008) and Break Up (2009, which were both on the Billboard 200). In 2010 Johansson made her Broadway debut in A View from the Bridge. She was awarded an Tony Award as Best Featured Actress. Johansson then began playing Black Widow in the Marvel Cinematic Universe movie Iron Man 2. She reprised the role in eight movies, the most recently in her solo feature Black Widow (2021), gaining global recognition for her performances. Johansson was also in the science fiction films Her (2013), Under the Skin (2013), and Lucy (2014). She received two simultaneous Academy Award nominations--Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress, for the characters of an actress who is going through a divorce in the drama Marriage Story (2019) and a single mother in Nazi Germany in the satire Jojo Rabbit (2019), becoming one of the few actors to have achieved this feat.Labeled as a sexual symbol, Johansson has been referred to as one of the most beautiful women by various media sources. She is a well-known brand endorser and supports several charitable causes. Johansson is divorced from Romain Dauriac (actor) and Colin Jost (comedian), has been engaged to him since. She has two kids who are one with Dauriac and the other with Jost.
