Michelle Marie Pfeiffer Michelle Marie Pfeiffer, also known as 'faIf@r' born on the 29th of April, 1958. She is an American actress and producer. She is a popular performer, known for her versatility. Her work on screen extends over four decades. She was one of Hollywood's most prominent sex symbols in the 1980s and 1990s. Her many accolades include an Golden Globe Award, a British Academy Film Award, and nominations for three Academy Awards as well as the Primetime Emmy Award. In 2007, she was honored with a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame.Pfeiffer briefly studied court stenography before deciding to pursue acting. Her career began in the year 1978 with a handful of film and television appearances. In 1982, she was given her first big role in Grease 2, which failed to be a success both commercially and critically. She was fed up of being stereotyped in roles that were not challenging to attractive females. In 1983, she portrayed the role of Elvira Hancock, a gangster moll in Scarface. The roles she played in Married to the Mob (1988) and The Witches of Eastwick ( 1987) were more successful. The actress was also nominated to win the first of six consecutive Golden Globe Awards. Her roles in Dangerous Liaisons (1988) and The Fabulous Baker Boys (1989) earned her two consecutive Academy Award nominations, for Best Supporting Actress and Best Actress respectively, winning an award of a Golden Globe Award for the latter.Pfeifer went on to establish herself as one of the most highly-paid actresses during the 1990s. She was Catwoman in Batman Returns (1992), was awarded her third Academy Award nomination in Love Field (1992) and received praise for her roles in the films The Age of Innocence (1994) and Wolf (1994) as well as The Age of Innocence (1993) Also, she produced many of her own vehicles under the banner of Via Rosa Productions, which included Dangerous Minds (1995). Focusing on her family, she acted sporadically throughout the 2000s and in the early part of the 2010s. She played the role of Stardust's antagonist in Hairspray in 2007. Pfeiffer came back to the limelight in 2017 with performances in Where's Kyra?, Mother!, and Murder on the Orient Express She also received her first Primetime Emmy Award nomination for her role as Ruth Madoff in The Wizard of Lies. After her first appearance as a character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, she was The Wasp in Ant-Man and the Wasp (2018). Then, she received her 8th Golden Globe Award nomination in French Exit (2020).
