Henry Franklin Winkler OBE, was born on October 30, 1945. He is an American actor, comedian writer producer, director, and executive producer. Winkler became famous in American TV's Happy Days as Arthur "FonzieFonzarelli." Fonzarelli. He has played a prominent role in roles of character, such as Coach Klein in The Waterboy and Barry Zuckerkorn III in Arrested Development. Fritz in Monsters at Work, Uncle Joe in The French Dispatch. Judge Newman in Merry Christmas. Drake & Josh. Al Pratt, Black Adam. Gene Cousineau, Barry. Winkler was a troubled child in P.S. at 87 West 78th Street in Manhattan as well as at the McBurney School where he was criticised for his lack of academic performance. After graduation from Emerson College, he studied the theater at the Yale School of Drama. He also worked for a year in the Yale Repertory Theater, where was involved in commercial theater and also appeared in two independent movies. He was able to save enough money to go to California in September 1973. He was later given a small role in The Mary Tyler Moore Show. He was a candidate for Happy Days, and was given the role of Arthur Fonzie Fonzarelli. The was a role that he played for the remainder of ten years. Winkler was diagnosed with dyslexia while working in Happy Days. Winkler then began producing and directing. He was part of the first MacGyver television series as well as worked on other shows like Sightings as well as The Hollywood Squares. He also served as the director for Memories of Me, a theatrical release starring Billy Crystal and Cop and a Half (with Burt Reynolds). He used his own dyslexia-related childhood experiences in order to write Hank Zipzer, a series of books for children that was written by him and Lin Oliver. Winkler was also the Mr. Rock in the BBC version of the show. Oliver and Winkler developed the prequel series Here's Hank and the Ghost Buddy series. They also developed the Alien Superstar series. He was a reality television actor in the year 2016 on the NBC series Better Late Than Never Winkler received an award for his performance in the show "The Fonz" and his involvement in dyslexia with Hank Zipzer. The actor donated one of Fonzie's leather jackets to the National Museum of American History in the year 1980. He was honored with an honorary star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1981. In 2008, the Bronze Fonz statue was unveiled on the Milwaukee Riverwalk. He was named an honorary Officer of the Order of the British Empire in the year 2011 by Elizabeth II. In 2013, he was also listed as one of the top 10 Literacy Heroes in the United Kingdom.
