Henry Winkler

 Henry Franklin Winkler, OBE (born on October 30 1945), is an American actor, comedian, author as well as executive producer and director. Winkler rose to fame on American television's Happy Days as Arthur "Fonzie” Fonzarelli. He has been a leading actor in roles as a character actor, including Coach Klein in The Waterboy and Barry Zuckerkorn III in Arrested Development. Fritz in Monsters at Work, Uncle Joe in The French Dispatch. Judge Newman in Merry Christmas. Drake & Josh. Al Pratt, Black Adam. Gene Cousineau, Barry. His awards include the award of a Primetime Emmy, two Daytime Emmys as well as two Golden Globe Awards, and a Critics Choice Award.As an infant, Winkler struggled at P.S. 87 West 78th Street in Manhattan as well as at the McBurney School where he was criticised for his lack of academic performance. He went on to study the theater at Emerson College and the Yale School of Drama He also was a part-time student for one year with the Yale Repertory Theater, did regional theater and commercial work as well as appearing in two independent films. After accumulating funds, he traveled to California in September 1973, and was cast in an unimportant role in The Mary Tyler Moore Show. He also auditioned for Happy Days and won the part of Arthur "Fonzie" Fonzarelli, which he portrayed for the next 10 years. Winkler was diagnosed with dyslexia while working on Happy Days. Winkler then went on to produce and direct. He was a part the original MacGyver TV series, and also worked on shows such as Sightings or The Hollywood Squares. He was also the director of the theater release Memories of Me with Billy Crystal and Cop and a Half with Burt Reynolds. He used his experiences with dyslexia as a child to write the Hank Zipzer series for children's books in 2003 with Lin Oliver, a children's literature writer. Winkler was also a part of Mr. Rock in the BBC adaptation of the show. Oliver and Winkler designed the prequel series Here's Hank and the Ghost Buddy series. They also developed the Alien Superstar series. He was a reality-TV actor in 2016 on NBC's series Better Late Than Never. Winkler was recognized for his performance in "The Fonz" and his working with dyslexia in the Hank Zipzer series. In the year 1980, he donated one of the Fonzie's leather jackets to the National Museum of American History. He was honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1981.
