 Joseph Antonio Cartagena, better known as Fat Joe, was born on the 19th of August, 1970. He is an American rapper from New York City. His career in music began as an active member of the hip-hop group Diggin' in the Crates Crew. ) and then embarked on a solo career and set up his own label, Terror Squad, to which the label signed Big Pun, Remy Ma, Tony Sunshine, Cuban Link, Armageddon, Prospect Triple Seis and then-unknown DJ Khaled, as well as discovering producers Cool & Fat Joe's debut solo album, "Represent", was released in 1993.
