 The first or paternal surname in the Spanish name is de Pablo. The second or maternal surname of Fernandez is Fernandez. Her birthplace was Santiago, Chile. At the age of 10, she moved to the United States to pursue acting. After performing in a variety of TV roles her choice was to portray Ziva David who is the main character of CBS's NCIS television series. She was awarded an ALMA Award in 2011 for the role. In addition to the show she has performed in Roberto Pitre's Vivo En Vida CD
