Amanda Peet (born January 11, 1972)[1] is an American actress from America. Her acting career began with small roles on TV. Her feature film debut in Animal Room (1995). Her first recognition came from her portrayal of Jill St. Claire on The Whole Nine Yards (2000). Since then, she has appeared in numerous films which include Identity (2003), High Crimes, Changing Lanes, Igby Goes Down (all 2002), Identity (2003), Identity (2003), Melinda and Melinda (2004), Something's Gotta Give (2003), Identity (2003), Identity Thief (2013), Trust Me (2013), and Tina Morris on HBO's Togetherness (2015), Jules on IFC's Brockmire (2016), as well as Betty Broderick in 2020. She was the writer and co-executive producer of the Netflix series The Chair that was released in 2021
