American actor Alfredo James Pacino (/p@’tSi?noU/; Italian pronunciation: [pa’tSi’noborn April 25 in 1940). He is regarded as one of the most prominent actors in America. He has been awarded many awards such as the Academy Award, the Tony Awards and the Primetime Emmy Awards. He also received the AFI Life Achievement Award, Cecil B. DeMille Award, as in addition to the National Medal of Arts. A method actor, Pacino made his film debut at the age of 29 in Me, Natalie (1969). His first appearance as heroin addict in The Panic in Needle Park (1971) was an absolute highlight.
