Bezos is Amazon's founder, former CEO and executive chairman. Bezos has a net worth US$109.3 million as of January 2023. Bezos was the fifth richest person worldwide and the richest between 2017 and 2021, according to Forbes and Bloomberg. He holds a degree in computer science and electrical engineering. From 1986 to 1994 he worked in various related areas in Wall Street. Bezos founded Amazon late in 1994 during the road between New York City and Seattle. Amazon began as an online bookstore and has since grown to a variety of other e-commerce products and services, including audio and video streaming, cloud computing as well as artificial intelligence. It is the biggest online sales business worldwide, and has the highest revenues. With its Amazon Web Services branch, it is also the largest provider of cloud infrastructure and virtual assistants.
