Carson Wentz

Carson James Wentz (born December 30, 1992) is an American football player for the Washington Commanders of the National Football League (NFL). Wentz was a football coach and college player at North Dakota State. He was the winner of two consecutive NCAA FCS National Championships as the team's starting quarterback. The Philadelphia Eagles selected him second in the 2016 NFL Draft. This made him the FCS's most highly selected player. His most memorable success came with the Eagles in 2017, when he led the team to an 11-1 record. Even though he was injured, Wentz helped the Eagles to secure the top seed in the National Football Conference (NFC). This culminated in the Eagles winning their first Super Bowl title in Super Bowl LII. He also earned Pro Bowl and second-team All-Pro honors. He helped Philadelphia make it back to the playoffs in their second season, but subsequent injuries prevented him from participating. In 2021 He was traded to the Indianapolis Colts. He played for one year before being transferred to Washington.
