She is an American actor, singer and songwriter. The four-octave range of her voice has been praised by critics, and her private life has received a lot of widespread media attention. She has been awarded numerous awards throughout her career and has won two Grammy Awards, one Brit Award as well as one Bambi Award, two Billboard Music Awards and three American Music Awards, nine MTV Video Music Awards, and 30 Guinness World Records.Grande began her music career at age 15 in the year 2008's Broadway musical 13. Her role as Cat Valentine on Nickelodeon's Victorious (2010-2013) as well as Sam & Cat (2013) became her most well-known role. Grande signed with Republic Records in 2011 after management of the label viewed YouTube videos of her performing songs. The 1950s-doo-wop-influenced R&B and debut pop album"[2 Yours Truly (2013) was a hit and landed in the top ten spot on the US Billboard Hot 100. Grande's vocals and her whistle register on the album immediately drew comparisons to Mariah Carey.She continued to explore pop and R&B in her third and fourth studio albums, My Everything (2014) and Dangerous Woman (2016). My Everything experimented with EDM and was a global hit with its hits "Problem", "Break Free" and "Bang Bang" and Dangerous Woman became her first of four consecutive top-five albums in the UK. Her personal struggles influenced the trap-infused fourth (2018) and fifth (2019) studio albums, Sweetener (2018), which were both commercial and critical success. Sweetener won the Grammy Award for Best Pop Vocal Album and Thank U, Next set a record for the biggest streaming week for a pop album . It also was nominated for Album of the Year. The songs "Thank U, Next", "7 Rings", and "Break Up with Your Girlfriend I'm Bored" made Grande the first solo artist to hold the top three spots on the Hot 100 simultaneously and the first female to be able to compete in the top spot of the UK Singles Chart. Her 2020 collaborations "Stuck with U" with Justin Bieber and "Rain on Me" with Lady Gaga helped her break the record for most number-one debuts on the Hot 100, the latter winning the Grammy Award for Best Pop duo/group performance. Grande expanded on the trap genre with her sixth studio album, Positions (2020), which both the album and the track's title single debuted at number one in the UK and US. In 2021, she teamed up with The Weeknd on the remix of "Save Your Tears", garnering her sixth US number-one single.
