Zoe Yadira Saldana Perego (nee Saldana Nazario; born on the 19th of June, 1978) is an American actress. The only actress to appear in three of the top five highest-grossing films (Avatar and Avengers: Infinity War and Avengers: Endgame). This feat is unparalleled by any actress. [2] Her films have grossed more than $11 billion worldwide,[3] and she is the second-highest-grossing film actress of all time as of 2019. Saldana, a trained dancer, began her acting career in two episodes of Law & Order in 1999. Center Stage (2000) was her first film role. The actress played the part of an ballet dancer. After being recognized early for her role opposite Britney Spears in the road movie Crossroads (2002), Saldana had a breakthrough career through her roles in various sci-fi film franchises, beginning in 2009 when she was cast in the roles of Nyota Uhura in the Star Trek film series and Neytiri in the Avatar film series.
