Wendy Williams, aka Wendy Joan Williams was born on July 18th, 1964. She is an American broadcaster and writer. She was the host of the Wendy Williams Show, a nationally syndicated talk show on television. Williams, formerly known as Wendy Joan Williams, was a radio host as well as a DJ. Williams quickly gained a fame as a shock jockette in New York as a shock jockette. Williams became famous for her on-air snark and appearances on television with famous people. Williams was featured on the 2006 VH1 reality television show The Wendy Williams Experience. In 2009, Williams was inducted into the National Radio Hall of Fame. The city council of Asbury Park, New Jersey changed the name of the street she was raised, Wendy Williams Way, on her 50th birthday.
